Cyclife Sweden AB is a company within the EDF group (Electricité De France), one of the world's largest employers and a major player in the energy sector. Cyclife is in a significant growth phase and conducts nuclear technology operations in the Studsvik area outside Nyköping, employing over 230 people. About the role – Operator SMA

You will work in the melting facility with tasks related to metal processing, recycling, and material handling. The role is varied, and you will be an important part of an experienced team.

You will work with:

• Hot processing (gas cutting, plasma cutting, oxygen lance cutting)
• Cold processing with saws, compactors, and alligator shears
• Machine handling and basic maintenance
• Sorting, blasting, and material flows
• Work in and around induction furnaces

Here you will have a daily routine with both pace and precision – and a team that always works together.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who thrives in a practical, technical, and operational role where quality and safety are important. You enjoy structure, learn quickly, and take responsibility for your work. The job is physically demanding, so you need to have good physical fitness and enjoy working with your body.

Requirements:

• High school education
• Computer skills
• Swedish & English
• Driving license B + access to a car
• Can work continuously on 2- & 3-shift (as you will work between the SMA and Extension departments)

Meritorious:

• Plasma cutting, gas cutting, oxygen lance cutting
• Experience from melting furnaces
• Cold processing
• Forklift and overhead crane license
• Hot work

The work location is Studsvik outside Nyköping, and the work is on-site. This recruitment process includes a background check that compiles previous public criminal records. The background check consists of public information that is handled confidentially. A security interview is also conducted where financial stability is a requirement.
